Casio AS-A, AS-C, AS-L

Bild:

Above the PCBs from the Casio AS-A. Like those from the AS-C in the middle, they are folded like a book for inserting them in the case. The only more complex IC is a HD3112, an arithmetic unit (ALU).

The AS-C in the middle is more powerful, the pcb-area has still the same size, but it contains significantly less components, including four large custom ICs from Fairchild with 36 pins.

The even more powerful AS-L needs half of the pcb-area and uses a kind of microprocessor.
